Welcome back to this weeks edition of Deadliest Movie Characters. In light of new Marvel and DC movies fast approaching the theaters this summer, it seems right that we should have a Marvel, DC stand off. This will show the true DC fans and the true Marvel fans. Shall we begin?

First in this heroic battle of characters is the infamous Dark Night, aka Batman. Known most recently for The Dark Knight trilogy Batman is a force to be reckoned with. With only a select few knowing his secret identity, Batman is well hidden in the shadows. He’s always hiding where you would least expect him. Very well trained in the art of hand to hand combat, he need not rely only on his trusty utility belt to save him. However, when need be, he does have some very helpful weapons when hand to hand fighting just isn’t enough. His gliding suit, while not actually giving him the power of flight, does give him the chance to get a birds eye view of his target. Being able to stay airborne for a while is one thing, but his trusty grappling hook is always useful when the sky is unattainable. Doomed as an outcast from his home town of Gotham, Batman must be sure to keep to the shadows whenever crime is afoot in the city he loves.

Now for Iron Man, aka Tony Stark as he so happily parades. Having no need of a secret identity, Iron Man freely goes around saving the day, during any time of day or night. Having teamed up with the Avengers, and having taken down several enemies of his own, Iron Man is no coward. He will stand up for his rights and his freedoms along with the people he protects. His body remains intact with the use of his arc reactor. The arc reactor, however, does more than protect Iron Man’s heart. It, in fact, powers the whole suit. It gives him the power to fly, shoot lasers from his hands and feet, and has incredible strength. His suit is the only “utility belt” Iron Man needs, no matter if he is in space, or on Earth.
