Utah State Basketball officially announced on Thursday afternoon that NCAA Division II Adams State Head Coach Louis Wilson was named as an assistant head coach on new head coach Tim Duryea’s staff.
Louis Wilson has led Adams State to two straight 20 win seasons to go along with three straight appearances in the NCAA tournament. Louis Wilson brings with him a high potent offensive mind. Last season Adams State averaged 87.4 PPG on 51% shooting from the field. This is an improvement for the Aggie’s, as they averaged only 66.6 PPG on 45% shooting.
This may be the first step to a head coaching position for coach Wilson as he falls into the same path in which Head Coach Tim Duryea did with the Aggie’s. With the schedule yet to be announced, we will wait to see when the Aggie’s will debut their new offense.
