Who wants to pay 70+ dollars for parking for the whole year when more often then not all of the spots are going to be taken? Is it really worth the money? So, rather than paying all that money to get questionable parking at best, we have found the best FREE parking options for USU.
WEEKENDS
A lot of the lots on campus are free to park in on weekends or between 7 PM and 6 AM. Unless the lot is for a specific residence hall then the pickings should be free. The problem is, who needs campus on weekends or between 7 PM and 6 AM?

8TH EAST (West Side)
Other then the fact you are parking on a hill, and will have to walk up any amount of the hill you have left, 8th east is right below the TSC and will get you to class in no time. Just be cautious of any crazy Frat parties going on, we all know at least one crazy story about the Greek Life.

AGGIE BLUEVARD (All the way east)
Aggie Blvd is a cluster-cuss from the TSC to the FAC, but if you keep heading east past the church some call “The Golden Toaster” there is endless curb as far as the eye can see (if your eyes can only see a couple hundred yards). This spot is great if you have a lot of FAC classes. (Not sure if there is a time limit for how long you can park there… but who obeys those signs anyway?)

NORTH WALMART
North Walmart has pristine parking all of the time. Never have I gone to North Walmart and had to search for parking. Not to mention you can get your grocery shopping done right when you get done with classes.

The Tabernacle
More often then not the Tabernacle on Main street is going unused. This means that the parking lot is free for grabs. Being on Main street makes after school shopping an easy get to. Just don’t try the lot on a Sunday. There may be some meeting going on which would make it the most congested parking lot in Logan.

LOGAN CITY PARK
Located on 12th N and 4th W this parking lot is wide open during school hours. Not to mention it offer THREE baseball diamonds for all of your sporting needs.

LOGAN ZOO
Logan Zoo is on 7th S and about 5th W. The parking lot is very small, so be sure to snatch a spot early. After a long day of classes it is totally worth the $2.50 entry fee into the zoo to see the surprisingly wide array of animals they have. (For an extra 25 cents you can feed a reindeer)

Let’s take a moment before we end to enjoy that our lives wont be dictated by parking signs any longer. Ah, doesn’t that feel great? Now you will get that perfect parking spot every time, and make it on time to that test you have at 7:30 in the morning.
