Braggers love to fill up the confessions page with sexual conquests and things they enjoy to do to their significant other. The question is, is it real or not? It’s hard to tell in some cases, but in others it can be quite obvious.
One sign of a possible fake confession is how disgusting it is. If it’s disgusting with close to no elaboration as to why this certain deed was done it never happened. Let’s be real, that’s probably a good thing.
Another way to tell if it’s fake is how little detail there is. This isn’t true in all cases, but in most the little the detail the bigger the fraud. Some people love to post lies because then they get praise. Sometimes they are called out, but most times some accept it as it is.
A way to tell the facts of this site are those that are actually personal. I’m not talking about the bedroom type personal that is heavily featured on this page, I’m meaning crushes, and cheating, and marriage.
Venting sessions are the most truthful posts on that site. Venting is just not caring and spewing your guts. These are simple truths about someone who just wants to get everything off their chest. While they may seem cruel they are truths. The beautiful anonymity of the site allows students to say whatever they want and not be judged and ridiculed in the real world.
These are some ways to tell if the “confessions” are simply that or just pure nonsense. These aren’t true one hundred percent of the time, but just a generalization of what is being viewed. The simple message being, don’t believe everything you read odds are it’s fiction.
