What started out as a USU controversy, ended in epic Aggie unity.

It all began Wednesday of finals week when Spoiler Girl, AKA Lauren Coulter, ruined yet another film. She earned her reputation by recklessly spoiling 90s videos. This time, Shrek was on the chopping block. She called it the “greatest love story of the 21st century.” (Her words, not mine. Also, pretty sure Shrek was animated in the 20th century…. but it’s no biggie.)

That’s when something seemingly innocent took a turn for the ugly, and Spoiler Girl was to blame. Spoiled movies were taking a toll on Aggies.

“No! God, no, please!” the random dude screamed.

Something had to be done, Spoiler Girl was ruining movies for everyone.

That’s when No Spoiler Boy, AKA Erik Gray, rose to the occasion to save USU from impending doom. No Spoiler Boy and Spoiler Girl never met before this, No Spoiler Boy was just rising to the occasion to save us all rom Spoiler Girl’s tyranny.

“There’s a problem on our campus today,” No Spoiler Boy said. “Make our campus spoiler free!”

Spoiler Girl called for an intervention.

“Come at me haters,” she said. “Let’s go.”

“This whole spoilers vs. non-spoilers thing should be the way that any mature adult handles anything: that’s with an epic silent dance battle in the library,” Jason Allred said.

Just like that, USU became divided.

That’s when the actual greatest love story of the 21st century began. And, contrary to popular belief, it all actually started with a Snap.

Recognize this guy? It’s Trevor Olsen, the former USUSA president. He said he was studying for a final.

That’s when a Mystery Car Girl, wished him good luck on his test and pointed out Trevor’s good looks.

Before his test, Trevor asked out Mystery Car Girl.

“I just want to give out a shout out to the Mystery Car Girls’ for the motivation,” he said as he walked to his final. “Lets meet up after to celebrate.”

Turns out, Mystery Car Girl’s name was Madison and she was was down for a date.

They met up for the first time ever at the Aggie Creamery. (That is so freaking cute!)

Meanwhile, Spoiler Girl pre-gamed for the dance off. #babestatus

Hundreds of Aggies met in the library for the dance off and for the Finals Week Howl and the silent dance party.

It’s a tradition where USU students meet in the library at 10 p.m. on Wednesday of finals week and howl at the top of their lungs to relieve the stress. There’s also a silent dance party in library after the Howl, too.

Students plug in their headphones, turn on their jams and silently dance through the library. This year it was spontaneously replaced by the dance off.

Dancers left it all on the dance floor, fighting for what they believed was right. Ultimately, team spoilers won the battle.

But in the end, the dance off brought USU–and Trevor and Madison–together.
