Here at Aggie Radio, we love our music, and right now I’m coming at you with the songs and artists I recommend this week.
First and foremost, The Wombats’ new album is coming out soon, and they’ve pre-released two songs from the album, “Greek Tragedy,” which is absolutely amazing, and “Emoticons,” which has a more indie feel and makes it unique to The Wombats’ typical alternative style.
If you’ve heard “Sail,” then you’ve heard AWOLNNATION, but you haven’t actually heard AWOLNATION. Their new album Run is coming out, and they too have pre-released a song, “Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf),” which will really help you get what AWOLNATION is all about. This is a band that presents a unique style in each of their songs, and “Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)” is no exception.
Last but not least, we have “Homesick” by Catfish and the Bottlemen. These guys are an Indie band that I’ve been falling in love with lately. They have a very good mix of in-your-face, listen-to-me songs with the quiet, slower stuff as well. If you love Indie music, or just any music with an alternative sound, you’ll love these guys.
